ego.
recipe.
Take twelve whole months. Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness, hate, and jealousy. Make them just as fresh and clean as possible. Now cut each month into 28, 30 or 31 parts, but don't make up the whole batch at once. Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients: Mix well into each day one part of faith, one part of patience, one part of courage, and one part of work. Add to each day one part of hope, faithfulness, generosity, and kindness. Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation, and one good deed. Season the whole with a dash of good spirits, a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play, and a cupful of good humor. Pour all of this into a vessel of love. Cook thoroughly over radiant joy, garnish with a smile, and serve with quietness, unselfishness, and cheerfulness. Enjoy!!!

New Year.
There is nothing sacred about this day; we could choose to celebrate it
at any time of year. But there is a magic symbolism to this day, a
symbolism you can use to propel a new start in your life. This is the
ideal moment to commit to the change you know you want to make. This is
the ideal day to stop saying "next week" or "tomorrow". This is the
moment to say, "right now, I am making that change!"

action.
There is never time to do it right, but there is always time to do it
over. Hmm. Maybe there is time to do it right, after all.
Whatever you do, do it right. Do it better than right. Do it
extraordinary.
Let your actions be an example to everyone who crosses your path.

wait.
hour might seem like a long time, but imagine if you had to walk the
distance.
We have come to expect everything to happen really, really fast. But
nobody can break the speed of sound, nor the speed of traffic. And when ten advertisers have paid for thirty minute slots, all our impatience won't convince the TV network to play the ads simultaneously (despite the aesthetic improvements that would create).
What CAN we do? Wait. Or fume, of course, but wouldn't waiting be
much more pleasant?
